Deciding when to keep your child home from school is not always easy. Your child needs to be in school, but when a student is sick, they need to be home resting to
get well and prevent the spread of illness to others.

Here are some helpful guidelines to help keep our school community healthy

Fever-free (less than 100.0F) for at least 24 hours WITHOUT using Acetaminophen (Tylenol/Nyquil/Dayquil) or Ibuprofen (Motrin/Advil) products. These are fever-reducing medications.
Gastrointestinal illnesses: No vomiting or diarrhea for at least 24 hours, and tolerating at least a bland diet without return of symptoms.

Please note: Key points: symptoms are mostly resolved before returning to school/work. Masking indoors around others for 5 days after return to school/work is recommended.
