At Community, Learning, & Enrichment Opportunities (CLEO) we support the growth of the whole student through active social and learning opportunities which are collaborative, experiential, enriching, relevant, playful, and authentic. This will be achieved through activities which are highly engaging, support social development, and provide opportunities for homework support for middle school.

CLEO Fall 2025 is a go!

We are pleased to announce that CLEO will be overhauled for the 2026 school year and implement the following changes:

  • The termination of 21st Century funding creates some financial stress, but frees the district from some of the 21CCLC requirements.
  • The program will start the day after Labor Day and continue throughout the school year in 4 sessions of approximately 8-10 weeks. (see calendar below)
  • Single-day enrollment is now allowed.
  • There is no prioritization of students. All students will be enrolled equally.
  • Early morning drop-off (8:00 - 8:20) at Muddy Brook will now be managed by CLEO for students in grades K-4.
  • Unfortunately, there will be some parent fees associated with the program this year. We are continuing to seek out grants to help keep these low, and will be making adjustments for families who are financially stressed. We are projecting that the actual cost of the program is about $26 per day and will be asking families to contribute $10 per day.
